Meet Your Coach Dr Jimmy Henry
A Faith and Wellness Journey - Merging Medicine and Ministry
I trained and served in medicine for nearly 20 years, as a double board certified fellowship-trained physical medicine doctor. Being overwhelmed as a doctor and business owner, I struggled with high blood pressure and chronic fatigue. Though I was 'successful' as a physician, I often felt unfulfilled in my medical career.
I began my personal wellness journey after my sister lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 34. I then realized the shortcomings of conventional medicine, feeling helpless that I was unable to do anything to save her life. My career took a detour after my own experience with moral injury in medicine culminated with an indictment that ultimately left my patients abandoned and my spirit broken.
As I navigated my own wellness journey, I incorporated holistic principles into my own healing, which then became the blueprint to help others struggling with what I was able to overcome.
It wasn't until I was confronted with these trials and tribulations, that I ultimately found fulfillment through my faith. I transitioned to become a board certified naturopathic doctor, certified holistic health practitioner, master certified professional coach, and ordained minister.
My mission now is to merge my experiences in medicine and ministry to help kingdom doctors transition from burnout to breakthrough and transform weight into wellness, so they can build generational wealth and health.
